Biography

Married to former Dutch champion Jan Tops. Edwina uses the Netherlands as her base for most of the year at Stal Tops Valkenswaard.

Edwina Tops-Alexander is an Olympic-level equestrian rider, who competes for Australia. In 2006, she decided to move to Europe to compete against the best riders in the world.

In 2006, Edwina became the first rider in the history of Australia to qualify for the final of the World Championships in Aachen, where she finished a fantastic fourth.

She has had a number of Grand Prix wins including Brussels, Valkenswaard, London, Zurich, Cannes, Geneva, Vigo and Doha to name a few.

In 2011 and 2012, she won the Global Champions Tour which resulted in her being the highest ranked female rider in the world rankings.
